The first album from Michael Schenker - Gary barden Acoustic Project is due to appear at the end of April All the experts say that you can tell a really great musican when he performs his music without the need of any technical props. Michael Schenker is celebrating his 25th anniversary in 2006 and fitting with this, a new album titled "Tales Of Rock’n’Roll" with 19 brand new songs is to be released.
All previous MSG singers have participated on the album; Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet, Leif Sunding, Kelly Keeling, Chris Logan and also the current singer Jari. All original MSG vocalists have delivered fantastic performances, Schenker enthuses. Sometimes we got the feeling that time stood still, that's how good the vocal parts have come out. The most important new discovery in the MSG camp is of course Jari Tiura from Finland, who contributed the vocal parts to 13 of the 19 tracks. Coincidentally, the Michael Schenker Group not only features brilliant vocalists on Tales Of Rockn`Roll - 25 Years Celebration: UFO member Pete Way, among others, turned up at the studio to record bass parts, while none other than Jeff Martin manned the drum kit.

Music Video Distributors and Metal Mind Productions have announced the release of "The Michael Schenker Group – Live in Tokyo 1997" for U.S. distribution on DVD.
this DVD features two supreme performances of MSG. Twelve songs from The Michael Schenker Story Live video and the bonus show footage is an excerpt from the Michael Schenker Live in Japan video. Both videos were released from Michael's own label (MSR) a couple of years ago.
